Running The Race (by Eric Elrod)

“…and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1b

“On your mark…get set…GO!”

The moment those words are heard every runner is looking for one thing, the finish line. The author of Hebrews understood this and knew what we should be looking to. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” Hebrews 12:2a. As Christians, we know that at the end of our race is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but for an unbeliever, the end of their race is death.

For years, the overwhelming need for the gospel in India has been vastly ignored, until now and you can get involved in the work to reach India with the gospel.

Voice In The Villages 5k Run/Walk is an event that is devoted to raising awareness, support, and laborers for India. VITV has been blessed with such great friends and supporters to host the 5k at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.

Here is why you should sign up today.

1) Participating would give you and your church the opportunity to be challenged towards missions in India. 2) You would have the opportunity to develop relationships with missionaries who are serving in India. 3) Getting involved would be a great way to help support and further the gospel in India.

What is the next step to get involved?

1) For more information, visit comeandseeindia.org/5kRun 2) Download the registration form. 3) Fee is $20 per adult (15 yr. & older) and $15 per child (14 yr. & younger). 4) Send registration form and payment to: Concord Baptist Church 723 Concord Church Road Pickens, South Carolina 29671 5) Make checks payable to: Concord Baptist Church (Memo: VITV 5k)

I am excited about getting to spend this time with you at the Voice In The Villages 5k Run/Walk. I am sure that this time will be a blessing to you and your church. How sweet it will be when we get to heaven and for all eternity praise the name of Jesus with many brother’s and sister’s from India who before would have lived their life with no knowledge of the gospel of Christ.
