January ’14 Prayer Letter (by Chris Waye)

Pastors & Praying Friends,

We leave for the field next month!  It is hard to believe that the day we have been working towards and praying for is just a few weeks away.  Birthdays, holidays, and anniversary’s are all behind us now, and we are in full gear preparing for our move.  We are working to get rid of much of what we own, while packing what little we will be taking with us to London.  Continue to pray as we look for a home to rent in London, that the Lord will give us wisdom and patience in where to go.

We have just finished the annual Our Generation Summit, which is a conference geared at encouraging people to get involved in world evangelism.  We praise the Lord for the over 400 in attendance and the many decisions made during the week.  Pray that the Lord will send fort many more laborers into His harvest around the world!

Christmas was a bittersweet time for us as we said goodbye to several of our family members for the last time in a while.  It is never easy to say goodbye, but we are thankful for the time we have had to spend with them.

We praise the Lord that as we wind down our time of deputation, that He has brought in just over 93% of our support before leaving for the field.  It has been a humbling and exciting thing to watch God provide for us in ways we never could have imagined.  The Lord is incredibly good to us, far better than we could ever deserve.

I would like to invite you to join us in London this summer for our London Vision Tour.  The dates are June 9-21 and includes 5 days at the Our Generation Camp in Trenton, GA.  For more information and to register online, please visit our website.

Again we want to thank you for all the prayers and support each month.  We are so grateful for the many we have the privilege to parter with in getting the Gospel message around the world.

God bless – Chris, Sherry, Lawson, Linden & Liam
