Fellowlabourers (by Beau Carpenter)

Philippians 4:3 – And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Many times in the letters that Paul wrote to churches, he mentioned people who worked alongside him in the ministry. In every city, in every place, there were many other people working to spread the Gospel.

I have been so blessed to be a part of a wonderful group of believers who embody this concept. At Vision Baptist in Cobb County, God has put together a team of laborers who are all actively involved in the ministry. As I was thinking about my friends, brothers, sisters, and family at Vision and I couldn’t think of one person who isn’t involved in the ministry in some way!

There are those who take their Saturdays to do outreach or work on the building, there are those who prepare to teach classes each week. There are those who serve in the music ministry, there are those who really take the initiative and get things done. There are those discipling, praying, and inviting. Each and every person is faithfully in their area of ministry each week serving the Lord!

It is wonderful to be a part of such a group. I thank God often for each and every person who volunteers their time, energy, and talents at Vision Baptist in Cobb County.
