December 2013 Prayer Letter (by Mark Tolson)

The holiday season is upon us and we are striving to use each of the opportunities that we have to reach out to the community and see more souls saved by the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanksgiving Outreach: We had two thanksgiving outreaches during November and each of them was a success. We held one in our home and was able to meet many new people and let them know about the bible study that we have on their side of town. The second outreach we had at the church. There were many new visitors who came. We enjoyed a great meal together and sang some songs at the end.

We are planning a Christmas outreach around the end of this month, so pray that we could use that to get the word out about the church and bible studies that we have going.

Bible Study: The Bible study is slowly growing as we reach out into the new area. The people coming are slowly starting to understand and comprehend the gospel. Please pray the Holy Spirit would do the work that he can only do, which is to convince them of their sin, open their eyes to the gospel so that they can trust on the Lord Jesus.

Church: The church is doing good and slowly growing as well. We are taking everyone through some discipleship material and encouraging them to start discipling others outside of the church. Pray for them as they try to reach out and even some who live with their family who is against them believing.

Interns: We had two interns join us at the beginning of December to help and learn from the work here. They will be here for 5-8 weeks. Pray for the Lord to work in their lives during this trip.

We are privileged to be able to serve the Lord and humbled at all that He is doing. Praise the Lord! Thank you for being a part of our team, Project China, with your prayers and financial support!
